This article will walk you through with a step-by-step guide of how to change your GoDaddy Nameservers (DNS) by pointing them away from GoDaddy and to a new web hosting provider, in this case to BigScoots.

Step 1: Log into your GoDaddy account. Once logged into your dashboard select “Manage” in the domain section.

Step 2: For the domain you’re wanting to adjust the Name Servers (DNS) for, select the wheel icon in the top right, followed by selecting “Manage DNS” from the box that appears.

Step 3: Select “Settings” from the tabs above followed by selecting “Manage” under the current set of Nameservers.

Step 4: Select the radio button “Custom” followed by “Add Nameserver.”

Step 5: You have two sets of name servers you can choose from, “ns1.bigscoots.com and ns2.bigscoots.com” or “ns1.securedserverspace.com and ns2.securedserverspace.com” if you would like to use our white labeled nameservers. Enter one of the two sets and select “OK.”

Step 7: As a final step, select Saveand you’re done!

Note: Remember that when you update anything to do with DNS there is always a delay. Please allow up to 3 hours for your changes to take effect.
