Managing who can access your website is important for security and control. In your WPO portal, you have the option to block or unblock specific public IP addresses to prevent unwanted visitors or allow trusted users. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to block or unblock IPs directly from your site’s security settings.
Please note that following this article and adding an IP in the security section will block that IP at the web server (Nginx).
Login to your WPO portal using this link.
Click on 'My Sites' and select the site for which you want to block a public IP from accessing your website.
Go to the 'Block IP' section under the 'Security' tab.
To add a new IP to block from your website, click on 'Add New IP Block'.
You can enter the public IP and then click on 'Block’. You can also add IP ranges there.
If you want to unblock a public IP from accessing your website, click on ‘Unblock’ next to the IP address in the same 'Block IP' section under Security.
