Setting up page rules to redirect one domain to another is an easy and effective way to manage your website traffic. Using the WPO portal, you can configure these redirects by adding the relevant domains just make sure both domains are under the same Cloudflare account. This guide will walk you through the steps to set up a domain redirect using WPO.
Please note that page rules will only work if both domains are added to the same Cloudflare account and the proxy is enabled.
Login to your WPO portal using this link.
Click on 'My Sites' and select the site for which you want to set up the page rules.
Go to the Domain section.
Now, add the domain you want to set up the redirect for. For example, I want to redirect the domain shared-test.com to the domain wpo-test.com that’s already added in WPO.
We need to ensure that the Cloudflare proxy is enabled for both domains. Go to the DNS and confirm that the A records for both the www and non-www versions are proxied.
Now, we can verify using a browser that the domain shared-test.com is successfully redirecting to wpo-test.com.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully set up page rules to redirect a domain using the WPO portal.
