This article will walk you through with a step-by-step guide of how to change your Namecheap Name Servers (DNS) by pointing them away from Namecheap and to a new web hosting provider, in this case to BigScoots.

Step 1: Log into your Namecheap account. Once logged into your dashboard select “Domain List” on the left menu.

Step 2: For the domain you’re wanting to adjust the Name Servers (DNS) for, click the MANAGE button to the right of the domain.

Step 3: Click the up arrow to drop down the Nameservers menu, and select “Custom”.

Step 4: Enter in your nameservers in the 2 fields below the Custom dropdown menu. Once done, click the green check mark to save.

Step 5: Done!

Note: Remember that when you update anything to do with DNS there is always a delay. Please allow up to 3 hours for your changes to take effect.
