Creating a personalized email address using your domain name not only looks professional but also helps build trust with your audience. cPanel makes it easy to set up and manage email accounts directly from your hosting dashboard. Whether you're setting up your first business email or adding new accounts for your team, the process is straightforward and user-friendly. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to create an email account in cPanel, so you can start sending and receiving emails using your custom domain in no time.

  1. Enter cPanel - If you don't know how, you can follow this guide.

  2. In cPanel, look for the Email Accounts option under the Email tab.

  3. Click the blue + Create button to add an email account.

  4. Under Create an Email Account, enter the desired email address and password. If you have multiple domains, a dropdown will allow you to select the domain you want the email to be associated with. If you only have one domain, the dropdown will be unavailable as it defaults to the primary domain.

  5. The email will default to 1024 MB of storage, with folders automatically created for plus addressing, and a welcome email will be sent. If you wish to modify these settings, click Edit Settings; otherwise, you can leave them as is.

  6. After you have filled out the form and selected your settings, click + Create.

  7. You will be redirected to the Email Accounts page, where your new email address will be listed. A confirmation message will appear, indicating that your email has been successfully created.

Congratulations! You have successfully created an email account through cPanel.
