A step-by-step guide to signup for a Managed WordPress Service

Welcome to BigScoots! Whether you are starting a new website or migrating an existing one, we're thrilled you've chosen us as your hosting provider. Our team is excited to work with you and support your website's success. In this guide, we'll walk you through the signup process for our Managed WordPress services, ensuring a smooth transition into your new hosting.

Signup

This section will walk you through the service signup process from the Managed WordPress services page.

  1. The first step will be to select a service. On the Managed WordPress services page, you will be able to select from four options. At the top of the page, you can switch between 'Monthly Pricing' and 'Annual Pricing.' Once you have a plan, click 'Get This.'

  2. Now on the purchasing page, you will have six categories to fill out:

    1. Select Product - Make sure the plan you want is selected.

    2. WordPress Installs - How many additional websites, past the initial amount, do you intend to add to the service? Every additional site will be $9.95 a month.

    3. Choose payment method - Select either card or PayPal to pay

    4. Client Information - Fill out your information so we may verify the account belongs to you later. (If you already have an account, click Already registered).

    5. Notes - Feel free to leave any additional information regarding your order.

    6. Terms of Service - Please read through then click the checkbox to agree.

    Once you've entered all the information, verify 'Change billing cycle' to ensure it's correct, as it defaults to monthly. If everything looks good, click 'Order.' On the next page, you'll be prompted to complete the payment for the service.



Welcome Email & WPO Access

For access to your WPO portal, you will need to update your account by following a link sent to your email. Please follow the guide below to ensure WPO portal access.

  1. Once your invoice is cleared, you will receive a welcome email from support@bigscoots.com. This email will grant you access to your WPO portal โ€” simply click 'Get Started!' to begin.

  2. You will be directed to a page where you will create a new password for your WPO Portal (you may use the same password as the one during signup). Once entered, click 'Set Password' to continue.



WPO Portal Next Steps

Congratulations! You now have access to the WPO Portal!

From the WPO portal, you will have three options to set up your site: 'Place a Migration Request,' 'Fresh WP Install,' and 'Create Staging.' Simply click on the option that best suits your needs, and feel free to follow its respective guide below:
