Embedding a YouTube video into your WordPress post or page is quick and easy. By following a few simple steps, you can add videos directly to your content, allowing visitors to watch them without leaving your website. This guide will walk you through the process from logging into your WordPress admin to successfully publishing the video on your post or page.
Log in to the WordPress admin area of your website. If you don’t know your login details, you can access the admin area directly by following this article.
Now, open the post/page where you want to add the video. For testing purposes, I’ve created a new post named ‘Testing’.
After adding the post, proceed to edit it. Click the + icon, search for YouTube embed, and select it.
Now, copy the YouTube link of the video you want to add to your post or page on your website. Please make sure the video is set to Public, as private or unlisted videos may not embed properly.
Now, paste the link into the YouTube embed box, click on Embed, and then click on Save to apply the changes.
Congratulations! You are all set.
