There are many reasons why you may need to know which BigScoots server your account resides on. One very popular reason is for setting up email in a mail client (Outlook, iPhone/Android, Mac Mail, etc.). By knowing which server you are on, you can use the server hostname to utilize an SSL connection without having to worry about seeing any security warning pop ups.

To find out which BigScoots server you're on, whether for shared or reseller hosting, you will need to follow the steps below:

  1. Enter your Billing portal.

  2. From the dashboard, click Services on the side, then select Shared SSD Hosting or Reseller SSD Hosting which ever you have in your account. In my case i have shared service, so it will take me to Shared SSD Hosting page, click the grey arrow next to your service.

  3. On the service page, click Login details, then you will see server hostname.

In this example, you can see the server hostname is: morty.securedserverspace.com.

Congratulations! You've successfully determined which BigScoots server you're using for your shared or reseller account.
