Whether you need to troubleshoot or refresh a service, restarting them is a quick and effective solution. In this guide, we’ll specifically walk you through the steps to restart the SSH service from WHM.

  1. Log in to WHM (for VPS/Dedicated servers). If you're not sure how to do this, you can follow this guide.

  2. On the WHM Home page, search for Restart Services and click on the dropdown.

  3. You will see a list of services under the Restart Services section. Click on SSH Server (OpenSSH).

  4. Then, click on Restart to restart the SSH service on the server.
