You can create a MySQL database from within your cPanel. This article will guide you on how to do this. Login to your cPanel from client area and follow these steps:
Enter cPanel - If you don't know how, you can follow this guide.
Select Database Wizard under Databases section.
Under the Create New Database Option enter the database name which you want to create then click Create Database.
You will get a confirmation that the Database has been created.
Scroll down and you will be able to find an option Add New User. Provide the database username of your choice, along with a password, then click Create User.
You will get a confirmation that the Database user has been created.
Next Step is to add User Privileges on this new created user and database. Click on the PRIVILEGES which you want to assign for the user on to the database. If you want them all selected, select ALL PRIVILEGES. Once done, click Make Changes.
Finally you will see that the requested privileges has been assigned for the user under the database in Manage My Databases section.
