WPO: Mailerlite(NEW) - How to authenticate your domain

Authenticating your domain in MailerLite is an important step to ensure your emails are delivered successfully and recognized as trustworthy by inbox providers. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of domain authentication, helping improve your email deliverability and brand credibility.

Step#1:

Start by logging into Mailerlite: https://accounts.mailerlite.com/

You may be asked initially which version of Mailerlite, choose New Version.

Step#2:

Click Add domain and enter in your domain email:

After you Save check your email for the verification link:

After doing so, we will have completed the first step of the process.

Step#3:
Now we click Authenticate underneath Authentication

You may get 2 options on the next popup, please select Manual

Step#4:

Please leave this window up and open https://wpo.bigscoots.com/user/sites/details

Select your domain and click the DNS tab

Now we can copy and paste our DNS records from Mailerlite to the WPO Portal:

Step#5:

After you add both records click Check DNS Records in which you should now see Authenticated!

Step#6:

Now click Add custom domain

Enter in any custom subdomain but if unsure just use: mailerlite.YOURDOMAINGOESHERE.com
Please ensure to replace YOURDOMAINGOESHERE with your actual domain!

Step#7:

Click Add

Click Check DNS Records

Click Manual again to bring up the DNS records

and let's get to adding!

Step#8:

Once all records are added, click Check DNS Records

You will be brought back, now click the toggle next to Domain Alignment

Step#9:

Lastly, click Confirm Enable to finish up!

Congratulations, you are all setup with Mailerlite!
