As part of our Shared services, we offer a basic email service through RoundCube to our clients. The services come with the ability to create an unlimited amount of email accounts and emails, as long as they fit within the service's storage capacity.
Before you get started, we do want you to be aware of a few key things before you setup an email with us:
The email is a basic RoundCube email offered as a courtesy with the service and made for business services. If you are looking to use the email for marketing purposes, we would highly recommend looking into a more robust service such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
If you’re currently using an email service like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, we recommend continuing with them instead of setting up an email with us. These services offer a broader range of features that our email service doesn’t provide. If you decide that you want to migrate over anyway, please be aware that we cannot migrate email history.
Once you change your domain’s MX record, the email will stop working with whomever you had it with previously, instead emails will be routed to your BigScoots email.
The domain name is added to cPanel - can see under 'Domains.'
Now that you know the conditions of our email services, you can follow the guides below to setup your email.

Create Email Account
The first step in managing email accounts is to create one. By following the tutorial below, you’ll be able to set up an email address linked to your domain.
If you currently have an email that you would like to migrate, please follow the steps below.
Enter cPanel - If you don't know how, you can follow this guide.
In cPanel, look for the 'Email Accounts' option under the 'Email' tab.
Click the blue '+ Create' button to add an email account.
Under 'Create an Email Account,' enter the desired email address and password. If you have multiple domains, a dropdown will allow you to select the domain you want the email to be associated with. If you only have one domain, the dropdown will be unavailable as it defaults to the primary domain.
The email will default to 1024 MB of storage, with folders automatically created for plus addressing, and a welcome email will be sent. If you wish to modify these settings, click 'Edit Settings'; otherwise, you can leave them as is.
After you have filled out the form and selected your settings, click '+ Create.'
You will be redirected to the Email Accounts page, where your new email address will be listed. A confirmation message will appear, indicating that your email has been successfully created.
