WHM - Feature Manager

A Feature list is a list of features that each cPanel account has. It provides or prevents access to specific cPanel features.

The Feature Manager in WHM (Web Host Manager) is a powerful tool that allows server administrators to control which features are available to different cPanel user accounts. By creating custom feature lists, you can tailor the hosting environment to suit specific user needs or service plans, improving both security and usability. In this article, we'll explore how to use the Feature Manager in WHM to create, modify, and assign feature sets with ease.

CREATING A FEATURE LIST

  1. Enter WHM - If you don't know how, you can follow this guide.

  2. Search for Feature Manager under Packages and click on it.​

  3. Enter a name for the new feature list under Add a New Feature List, then click Add Feature List.

  4. You will then see a list of all available features. To include a feature in the list, simply select its corresponding checkbox.

  5. Then, click Save at the bottom of the page.

EDITING A FEATURE LIST

  1. Enter WHM - If you don't know how, you can follow this guide.

  2. Search for Feature Manager under Packages and click on it.​

  3. Under the Manage Feature List section, select the feature list you want to edit, then click Edit.

  4. Make your changes, then click Save.

DELETING A FEATURE LIST

  1. Enter WHM - If you don't know how, you can follow this guide.

  2. Search for Feature Manager under Packages and click on it.​

  3. Under the Manage Feature List section, select the feature list you want to delete, then click Delete.

  4. You will see a confirmation message saying, 'You have successfully deleted the “Test1” feature list'.
