Managing multiple websites on a single server often requires adjusting their IP addresses for better organization, security, or SSL configuration. If you're using WHM (Web Host Manager), changing the IP addresses of multiple sites can be done efficiently through its intuitive interface. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to update IP addresses for several domains at once, ensuring minimal downtime and proper DNS propagation.
Enter WHM - If you don't know how, you can follow this guide.
Search for Change Multiple Sites’ IP Addresses under Multi Account Functions
and click on it.
Click the checkbox next to each cPanel account for which you’d like to change the site's IP address, then click Change IPs of Selected Accounts at the bottom of the page.
You will then see a list of the selected domains, each with a dropdown menu to choose from the available IPs on the server.
After selecting the IPs you’d like to assign to the accounts, click the Change IPs button.
Congratulations! You have successfully changed the IP addresses of multiple sites in WHM.
