This article will walk you through with a step-by-step guide of how to change your GoDaddy Nameservers (DNS) by pointing them away from GoDaddy and to a new web hosting provider, in this case to BigScoots.
WPO customers can contact support via Intercom or by creating a ticket to get their nameservers.
Log in to your GoDaddy account using this link.
Once logged in to your GoDaddy account, click on Domains under the All Products section.
On the next page, search for the domain you want to update the nameservers for, and then click on it.
Click on Change Nameservers under DNS > Nameservers. There, you'll see the existing Nameservers pointed.
Select 'I will use my own nameservers' and update your nameservers. You have two sets of nameservers to choose from:
ns1.bigscoots.com and ns2.bigscoots.com,
or
ns1.securedserverspace.com and ns2.securedserverspace.com if you'd prefer to use our white-labeled nameservers.
Enter one of the two sets and click save.Note: Remember that when you update anything to do with DNS there is always a delay. Please allow up to 3 hours for your changes to take effect.
Congratulations! You've successfully updated the nameservers at GoDaddy.
