Your computer keeps a temporary record of websites you've visited to help them load faster—this is called the DNS cache. But sometimes, especially after a website has been moved or updated, this stored information can cause your browser to show an outdated version of the site. This guide will show you how to clear your DNS cache so you can see the most up-to-date version of the website.
Open up the Command Prompt from your Windows Start Button. From the Start you will be able to type in 'Command Prompt' or 'cmd' to find the program. Once found click Run as Administrator (depending on version, may need to right click for prompt).
On the command line type ipconfig/flushdns. Once completed, you will get a message letting you know that you have successfully flushed your DNS Resolver Cache.
The DNS cache has been flushed, so now if you type go back to your site, everything should display as the current version.
Congratulations! You've successfully cleared your Windows DNS cache.
