Taking the first steps is a significant milestone for any BigScoots client. We understand that launching a new site can feel overwhelming, which is why we provide a staging site to help you get started. With staging, you have a private environment, invisible to the public, where you can set up your site before going live. Simply complete the staging request form, and we’ll handle the rest. This guide will walk you through the form to ensure a smooth start.

If this is your first site, you can click 'Create Staging' on your dashboard.
If the staging is an add-on, you can click '+ Add New Site' from the dashboard.
Add New Site
Upon first entering the form, you'll be directed to the 'Add New Site' page. On this page, please fill out the following options:
What would you like to request - Select ‘Add domain name,’ unless you want to purchase a new hosting service.
What would you like to request (under Domain Info) - Select ‘Staging Domain.’
Domain Name - Enter your domain
Select Existing Plan - Select the service/domain you want the site to be associated with.
Select existing domain - If you have a site already and wish to create a staging site clone of it, you can choose the domain here, otherwise you can leave empty.
Once all information is filled out and ready, you may click ‘Proceed.’
Review
The Review page provides a summary of all your information for review before submission. If everything looks correct, click 'Continue.'
Your staging request has been successfully submitted!
The install will be completed shortly. In that time, we will set up your staging site and create a WordPress.org account for you.
